childhood memories...

One of my most cherished childhood memories is baking cookies with my mom. You probably can relate completely or (maybe if your a guy) just not get it. It was just one of my favorite things, which is probably why I have an obsession with baking (and eating) homemade sweets. My daughter (at 20 months) is finally old enough to enjoy this tradition so here is our oatmeal cookie making experience in pictures. Please excuse her bed hair.

This is obviously Evie ready to get started...

and this is her getting frustrated with me holding a camera instead of letting her start :)

Oh my how I love her eyes!

She snuck a bite while I was trying to take a picture of the tray

I know there is raw egg in it, but come on we all did it growing up and turned out okay.

beautiful flowers and my beautiful daughter | tulsa oklahoma child photographer

So my friend Chris O'Dell (a fellow photographer) called me up and said he was taking his daughter to a field of buttercups in the morning and invited me along to get some pictures of Evie. It's been a while since I've seriously attempted to get some good photographs of her. She's a very hyper toddler and doesn't always cooperate. So I went with the hopes to get a few good shots of her and I was so pleased with how well she did. It was a beautiful spring day and the flowers were just as beautiful. Both girls did great and I finally have some (recent) print worthy photographs of my Evie.

Chris got a shot of me with my Evie...

I even got a few good shots of little miss Juliet...

spring express sessions | | tulsa oklahoma family photographer

Oh my goodness... I have been so busy!!! Last weekend I offered my first set of Express Sessions at Gilcrease Museum. I had a total of eight 30 minute sessions which included families, babies, and even a couple seniors. Let me just say, I was completely pooped out by the time the day was over, but it was so much fun! This may be something I offer once each season, so get on the mailing list if you want to know when the dates are announced. As always, I posted my favorites from each session. I think this is the longest post to date.
